Eyebrow Microblading is a very fine manual tattoo method in which hair like strokes are added to one’s eyebrows to enhance their color, shape, and appearance of hair density. The process can range from just filling in a few bald spots to creating a full eyebrow. This method is semi-permanent and maintenance to keep strokes and color fresh will need to be performed approximately every 6-12 months. Shading can also be added between strokes to give a more 3 dimensional look.
Although microblading is a hot new trend to give thin, light, over-tweezed or uneven eyebrows the look you desire, it is not a new method. Manual tatttooing has been around for centuries and the method for cosmetic tattooing now know as microblading originated in Asia decades ago and now has gained popularity in Europe and the US over the last few years.
Our permanent makeup artists are permitted through the Orange County Health Agency and have completed 100 hours of training and undergo Bloodbourne Pathogens training annually.
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing treatment that fills in sparse eyebrows. The technique uses a hand-held tool with needles to apply pigments that simulate additional hairs. The color fades over time, and yearly touch-ups are recommended to maintain optimal results.
